Start your adventure as you are picked up from you Yogyakarta and travel to the magnificent Borobudur Temple. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is not just beautiful but also awe-inspiring as it stands as a remarkable ancient monument recognized globally.

 

You will explore its intricate details and witness the amazing 504 life-sized Buddha statues, each of them a wonder itself as it was carved from a single stone. One of the most breath-taking moments in your journey is observing the grandeur and unparalleled uniqueness of the seated Buddha statues. On top of these wonders, the temple also has 2,672 relief panels that thread together an incredible narrative that provides an even more in-depth knowledge of Buddha's teachings and the rich historical tapestry that envelopes this stunning place.

 

You may extend your exploration and visit the neighbouring Mendut and Pawon Temples which offer a beautiful and captivating extra treat in your journey. The temples were aligned in a straight line with Borobudur hinting at an ancient ritual process surrounded by mystery.

Itinerary:

  • 08.30 - 09.00 am -> Pick up at hotel (Yogyakarta area)
  • 09.00 - 10.30 am -> Drive direct to Borobudur
  • 10.30 - 12.30 pm -> Explore & see temple                                                                      
  • 12.30 - 12.45 pm -> on the way back to hotel, Stop in Pawon & Mendut (optional)
  • 12.45 - 13.15 pm -> Enjoy the small temple
  • 13.15 - 15.15 pm-> Go back hotel in Yogyakarta. Tour ends.

  • Please be ready 15 minutes before meeting time. The tour will depart from the Meeting point/your accommodation
  • Tour will take place both rain and shine
  • For lunch/breakfast, we choose a restaurant with food hygiene standard on your own. (optional)

  • Hotel pick up and drop off from outside Yogyakara City are considered as additional service.
  • Airport Pick Up or drop off (Yogyakarta International Airport) is considered as an additional service.

 

 

Cancellation policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
